Once a Gas Patio heater has been installed it is important to check that there are no leaks. The first test is to make sure you can't smell gas of course.
A soap test is also recomended that checks if gas is escaping from the hose connectors. This video explains how to perform a soap test.
It is also a regular maintence requirement to perform a soap test to make sure the connectors remain leakproof.
