Electric heaters would not be considered safe if they had any form of cover and would fail ALL EU/UK safety regulation tests due to the fire hazard a cover would create.
In addition to this, our electric heaters are all IPX rated 4 or 5 for safe outdoor use (look at the last digit on the IPX rating).
A rating of 4 means that the heater is shower-proof, a rating of 5 means that the heater can be used in areas that are more exposed – to the point of being safe even if you accidently directed a hose at the heater while it was turned on.
In short, the vast majority of our heaters are perfectly happy living outdoors without a cover, even if they were available.
