Utilising long wave infrared heating elements, these Ceramic heaters give off no light whatsoever - just constant focused heat at the flick of a switch. Although not quite as powerful as their short wave cousins, ceramic heaters are excellent when used indoors and especially useful in specialist environments where light could be a nuisance such as photographic studios, with some sensitive animals, food preparation and nurseries. Ceramic heaters are available with many different heat output options ranging from 1kW to 4.5kW.
